Powder Days: Will The Snow Ever Come?

I made this video last season, nothing too fancy but at the moment it’s all I have to remind my senses of the snow!

Admit, the video is a bit elementary. This Winter while working for the Marketing and Ski School Directors at Mad River Glen, hope to reveal some improved video work and maybe sneak in some refined tele twirls while I’m at it!

Just Arrived: Spanish Castle To White Night and DVD

I arrive home from a chaotic morning working at the local University. Pretty ready to get in the door, take the pup for a walk and get on with a couple projects. I was not expecting any packages.

There was a pretty big package at the door.

“Hmm…”

I grab the heavy package and saw my name on it. Interesting. Really was not expecting anything and there was no indication of where it was from or from whom. Very weird. Well, it has my name on it which means I can open it.

Oh what an AWESOME surprise!

It was 2 copies of Spanish Castle to White Night, which I was not expecting just yet. One hell of a surprise. Here are a couple of photos, give even more reason to pick up a copy!

Tucked Away In The Back, Don't Miss The DVD!!

So happy right now. It’s awesome to see and feel this book in my hands. Crazy about books. Love how they feel and will never give that up. This book is very special for a number of reasons. The Volvo Ocean Race has been a compass rose since resigning from Pfizer, late 2005. Much of my determination and drive to succeed on my own has been inspired by people associated with this event.

Special thank you to them all! Need to sneak that in. Holding this book reminds me of those who pushed me to grow this past year and a half. They reminded me on countless occasions to never give up. Stay true to yourself. Be Yourself. Do what you love.

I’m here working with Mark Chisnell and crew, hoping to see this book land in as many hands as possible, around the globe. Why? Because I hope the words and images will inspire others. It’s not just about the Volvo Ocean Race. It’s about taking on a challenge, not giving up, always looking forward and excepting nothing less than success.
